How to Stop a Fixie

Fixie - Fixed Gear - whatever you want to call them they are awesome bikes. The single gear and the rider’s connection with the pedals makes them especially fun to ride, but stopping is always important - even more so when you’re riding one of these with no brakes. If you’re new to fixies and want to figure out the best way to not fly through a red light against your will, we suggest checking out Wired’s how-to-wiki for stopping a fixed gear bicycle.
